Our Career Development Advisers give guidance and support to clients to enable them to make both informed choices about their career planning and to achieve their aims and ambitions. They do this through individual guidance appointments, through delivering a range of participative activities and, importantly, through accredited academic teaching. Modules taught by our Advisers include 'Career and Personal Development', 'Enterprise Skills', 'Managing Self and Others'.
They work closely together in one integrated team, but each Adviser also has a particular responsibility or interest:

Ann Berry E: a.berry@bradford.ac.uk Ann has a special interest in e-learning and in developing and encouraging enterprise skills. She is also the Adviser responsible for our School of Management. |

Catherine Gregory Senior Career Development Adviser E: c.m.gregory@bradford.ac.uk Catherine has particular expertise in providing services to our postgraduate students and contract research staff. She is also our MBTI specialist and leads on staff training within the Service. |

Roy Christian E: r.christian@bradford.ac.uk Roy delivers an enhanced service to students who have come to the University through widening participation schemes, including those from minority-ethnic backgrounds; and is responsible for our workshop programme. |

Shirley Marsland E: s.marsland@bradford.ac.uk Shirley has a particular responsibility for ensuring our labour market information is up-to-date and relevant to our clients needs. She also has a special responsibility for working with those wanting to enter the teaching profession. |

Heather Marshall E: h.d.marshall@bradford.ac.uk Heather keeps the rest of the team up-to-date on issues relating to disability and has a special responsibility for working with Nursing/Health Care students and those wishing to pursue medicine as a career. |

Hermione Berry E: h.berry@bradford.ac.uk Hermione teaches careers and employability related subjects within several modules across the university. She has a particular interest in undergraduate placements and also has special responsibility for supporting students and graduates from the School of Computing, Informatics and Media. |

Jason Maher E: j.c.maher2@bradford.ac.uk Jason is our Enterprise Development Officer and provides support and guidance to
members of the university who are looking at working freelance, becoming
self-employed or starting their own business. He is involved with developing
enterprise skills and has interests in presentation skills and web based
means of supporting learning and development. |
| Debbie Adams E: d.adams1@bradford.ac.uk Debbie is based permanently at the School of Management and provides a dedicated and intensive career coaching service to the undergraduates there. She works with students to help with life and career planning and developing employability. |
